I just love to read any book by Rujuta. With this book particularly Rujuta just brings back my childhood. Because so many recipes and the "SuperFoods" of course that she has mentioned were all my childhood favorite. But as I grew up and started gaining few pounds I just stopped eating some of them. But its when I started reading her books, I realized how wrong I was. "Der aaye... durust aaye..."(Better late than never....) I would definitely recommend people to read this book and just embrace the foods that India has to offer. For people who are not from India, just go back to your roots and eat what you or your ancestors have been eating. Eat local produce.Live like a kid, Eat like a kid.... :)
A very refreshing and reassuring journey back to roots. Easy and entertaining reading. It brought back to mind all the eating habits and home grown food we had growing up in the village. I recommend it highly to anyone interested in healthy eating. It is certainly an eye opener for culinary experts especially those in the Indian diaspora.

This book is precise about indian foods that our forefathers used and we all growing up eating those.Although, i feel that some deapth is missin it.But still worth a while.To conclude, precise and easyiest way to healthy lifestyle without spending so much amount of money.Btw i am an exercise physiologist.
