If you can afford to have all the bells and whistles this book is the book for you. If you have a shoestring budget you can read this book for ideas on how to stay on budget.
I was hoping for general figures, but was disappointed to find this book only gave ideas of how much a bride could spend on things like catering or invitations as compared to other parts of her budget. Don't bother buying if you already picked up David's "The Big White Book of Weddings", they contain most of the same information and the big book is more informative overall.
As a huge fan of 'My Fair Wedding', I view the guidance and expertise from David Tutera as industry standard. Very insightful tips that I never would have thought of on my own and tasteful reminders of how to stay etiquette appropriate even in casual settings. Congrats to all the beautiful brides out there!
Even though this book is authored by David Tutera the tips were for weddings of all budgets. The budget breakdown at the end will be helpful.
There is useful advice but very short book. Kind of feel like I was just getting into the swing of his advice and then ran out of book.
But mostly common sense...the budget work sheets were a waste of space to me as there are so many online tools and templates. Very short read
